St. Joseph’s/Candler would like to
introduce one of our outstanding members of the SJ/C Medical Group:
J. Russell Harrington , MD
Dr. Harrington is board certified in Internal Medicine. A
Georgia native, Dr. Harrington graduated from Mercer
University School of Medicine in Macon. He participated in residency programs
at the Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans and Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. He worked at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta from 2003 to 2009 until he relocated to Savannah and the SJ/C Medical Group.
Dr. Harrington chose to become board certified in Internal
Medicine because it “looks at the whole person—the systems of organs and their
functions.”
Dr. Harrington is a member of the American Medical
Association, the American College of Physicians, and the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. For more
